Our story

We are the largest specialist in heavy machinery trading in the Nordic countries

Maatori has rapidly grown to become a notable leader in the world of heavy machinery trading. The company was originally founded in 2018 to resell excavation equipment. In 2019, our operations expanded to trade excavation machinery, and we developed an innovative, entirely new trading process.

In 2020 Maatori experienced significant growth with international trade agreements and an increase in staff.

In 2021 we became the largest heavy machinery trading company in the Nordic countries. In 2022 the company expanded into the forestry and agricultural sectors, acquired additional locations through acquisitions and established its own financing company Aari Rahoitus Oy. In 2023 Maatori continued its expansion into Southern Finland and Sweden, strengthening its position as the leading player in the industry.
